Privacy Policy

UK law places significant importance on protecting personal data and this has recently been increased in 2018 with the introduction of the EU legislation is also being written into UK law. As a result of this we set out here our policy on personal data so that supporters of St Stephen’s Millennium Green know that their data is being stored and used responsibly.

We collect data in three ways:
1. When people sign up to our newsletter
2. When people complete a donation form
3. When people provide information at the checkout for tickets purchase

In all circumstances we collect the minimum amount of data required.

We collect contact details information when people wish to join our newsletter. This is to allow us to send those people newsletters and will not be used for any other reason. By signing up to the newsletter the individual consents to receive communications from St Stephen’s Millennium Green Trust. It is possible to opt out from communications by contacting contact@millenniumgreen.org.uk via email.

We collect personal data, including bank details, when people complete a donation form. The contact details provided are used to communicate with the donor about the Green or about the current donation or any potential further donations. The bank details are used to set up direct debits and they are destroyed once that process is complete.

All contact details are stored securely and are available to a limited number of trustees in order to carry out the above tasks.

We do not collect card details when people purchase tickets via the checkout function. These are only held by the secure card payments provider.

When you purchase tickets, you have the option of your email address being added to our mailing list or not. If not, then we will not email you, except for any necessary information about the specific event.
