Events for 2018

The Summer Fair - August Bank Holiday Monday

Despite the poor weather over the August Bank Holiday weekend the Summer Fair held on the Bank Holiday Monday was a great success and a wonderful community event. The attendees enjoyed a variety of entertainments including a jazz band, a tombola, and the Punch and Judy which was equally popular with both children and adults. The plant and produce stall did a brisk trade and the cake and teas were as popular as ever. In total a profit of nearly £1500 was made and this amount will go towards the upkeep of the Millennium Green. Our thanks to all who attended and contributed so generously during the event.

Our thanks also to Brenda Bridgeman, Jackie Harris, and Richard Harris who put in so much effort into organising the event and also for organising the "Jazz on The Green" event that unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the bad weather.

Finally thanks also to all those who helped before, during and after the event.
